The class is coming together

Creamer and Bryan on board. Making up for some of the lost commits. You have to at least concede that the staff is working hard to close out recruiting season. Bryan sounds like he could be exciting. Oliver Martin..if he looks at Iowa dominating Michigan 5 of the last 6...that would be a fine class.

Bryan looks to be a good pick up, but the rest? Meh. No difference makers there. Just scrambling to fill the class with whoever will commit. We have a position of need that this staff can't even fill with a quality player (receiver). Everyone clamoring over filling a class with fall backs at the last minute, you'd think we just signed four 4 star receivers. I guess the bar has been set so low, that anything will make people happy.

If you are going to troll, use a different bait, cause this one will only catch carp.

How is he wrong? These are last minute offers and walk-ons outside of Bryan. You can't get excited about a lower rated kid because he was an early offer and trust the staff, then also not accept the fact that they're scrambling for last minute offer flips from MAC level schools.

There are a million different ways to look at it. I think last years class will end up being better than this years class, and this years class is higher rated (#47 composite 247 last year vs #37 composite 247 this year). Either way, the recruiting is light years better last year and this year than it was in '13, '14, and '15 (all 55-60 composite ranked classes by 247).

So those bitching about better recruiting aren't even happy when we are going from mid to upper 50's, to upper 40's to now upper 30's in rankings. There is just no pleasing a certain segment, period.

Your last statement is factual. Unless Iowa is bringing in top 10 classes and finishing ranked every season they will complain about everything.

Six 3* db's...I like it. We seem to develop dl and lb's....db requires more speed and raw natural talent. Yes, we fell a bit short at WR. CONCERNING. But... There is some very good all-big 10 /AA capable talent coming in. Kids from Florida...Georgia....Pennsylvania...Illinois....Texas. Id say our coaches are working hard and finding Iowa type talent. Read the stories and threads about recent and historical 2* 3* and MAC flip Hawkeye studs. I like the class.

OL is one position I will always give KF the benefit of a doubt on. To a lesser degree, I feel Phil Parker has a good track record with his DB's over his time here. We always seem to turn 2 star players into all-conference or even all-american performers at that position.

One two star and the rest 3's and up. I am betting the 2* will end up at least a 3 or better. I am going to pout for a couple of weeks and stay mad at Oliver Martin...

The class isn't bad, but it seems to lack playmakers. Our offense struggles to get big plays, and I'm not sure anyone in this class helps with that. Yes, there may be a RB who can break big plays, but we need that outside speed from the passing game (and a QB/System that throws the ball down the field)

Looks like a strong defensive class.

We have a Playmaker. He posts here. He could make a Iowa great again if he had eligibility.
