What about Lou Montgomery from Michigan? He was at UNI then to Wyoming. His DL at UNI were always very good. I would hope Iowa would look in his direction for a DL coach. He is very intense and also he gets the best out of his players. Look at his first year at Michigan, their DL was 3X better than they had been.

you mean Jerry, but yes he is a very highly regarded up and coming assistant.

I was told that Lavar and a few other coaches were seen at Orchard Green a few weeks back late on a Monday night celebrating in honor of him. I don't know the specifics, but something is in the works for him...

I think all of the Hawk coaches are doing a very fine job. But although LeVar Woods is a good coach, I can’t put him on the same level of Chris Doyle and Phil Parker just yet.

Yeah, not sure if anyone is saying he is as good as two of the best assistant coaches Iowa has ever had.
