Anyone else feeling a little embarrassed?

Maybe when Urban comes back, he'll give the league coaches another lecture about recruiting.

There is no sugar coating this. It was a historically bad day for the Big Ten.

7 non-conference losses, including 5 losses to non-P5 teams.

The only consolations are that so far this year the Big Ten is 6-6 against P5 teams, and that the PAC had an equally embarrassing day.

unreal....we are really supposed to believe that Urban's wife knew about his employee beating his wife and she never told him?

The Big 10 has to learn to schedule more Big 12 teams and stay away from the MAC,

3-1 against the Big 12..

The 7-1 Bowl record last year seems like a distant memory after last weekend.

I cannot really blame Illinois and Purdue, because I think they were expected to lose. I had hope that our worst team was still better than Kansas. Wow. What a blowout. Why should I ever care about a Rutgers result, though...?

The other losses could maybe be explained away, but Wisconsin at #6, losing at home to an in ranked team ... that was the killer.

Maryland didn’t help things.

Nebraska - it is their own fault that they only had 1 scholarship QB. Not good as much as their scheme has the QB run. That loss is 100% on Frost.

NW: not many teams can give up 3 defensive TDS and still win, but what had happened to NW?

Said it in another thread, but throw the conference perspective out the window and take it on a game by game basis...I love seeing our conference foes lose. Sure I may have to cheer for them to knock off another foe come conference play, but you're never going to see me posting how disappointed I am that Nebraska, or any team in the west lost an OOC game. I'd love to see the entire West (with the obvious exception) finish with a losing record every year.
