Sure, the Gavitt Tip Off currently stand 4-3 with Michigan still to play Xavier - but their wins are Nova over Nebraska, Providence over Illinois and St John's over Rutgers... MSU, TOSU, PURDUE and WISCONSIN didn't even participate. The Big East is pretty much a high mid-major now that it separated to the 10 basketball schools. No Football - Fox Sports contract that doesn't allow them to be on ESPN unless it's a roadie, this conference will continue to get worse. Creighton got absolutely demolished by Indiana, who with Bryant are good enough to win the B1G IMO and we all saw what the Hawks did last night. The Big East getting 5+ teams into the Dance hopefully is going to change, cause it's just not a great hoops conference IMO.
