The bias of the committee

I see three...

1. How the team performed last year... recent history
2. Style points (beating Lamar by 60 is great... beating #2 ISU ( the real one) by 30 at half and calling off the dogs is bad.
3. SEC


Clearly the SEC is getting the benefit of the doubt.


Is last year(s) performance a criteria? Seems like it isn't as Jeff Long tried his best to avoid saying that. The committee doesn't trust teams like Iowa that stunk last year.

MSU being below TCU and Baylor shouldn't happen based on history. That is style points bias.

So when Iowa wins the big ten. has a nice showing in the playoffs.. They will get the benefit of the doubt the subsequent year.

Why don't these guys just say that? is that against their rules?
