Good to see they tightened up the rebounding and blocking out better in the 2nd half.

They finished despite the bad FG shooting in the 2nd half. Really big for these guys to finish a game.

A lot of perseverance and no quit attitude tonite. The same with Syracuse but they just came up short

Not many teams go into Chapel Hill and get a win.

If this team could shoot 40-45% they could be awesome.

A small fun stat. From what I've counted, North Carolina has lost only 24 home games under Roy Williams (including tonight.) In one season under Lick, Iowa lost 22 games. That's a tough building to win in. Granted, the atmosphere wasn't what it can be but still, such a great win.

Lol, if you told me last night that we would beat North Carolina on their home court after shooting 8 of 33 in the second half and do it with great defense and free throw shooting I would have asked you to pass it this way........PUFF PUFF PUFF PUFF. It was an ugly second half for both teams but it was a win and a huge win for the Hawks.

Absolutely huge win and great for the program. My only concern is we cannot give up offensive rebounds like we did when struggling from the field. I've never seen an Iowa team look that bad on the glass which is one of the reason's I'm so impressed by the win.
