What a great time it was to be at the North Iowa I-Club Banquet last night! Definitely a memorable one. With all the great speaches, especially by Norm Parker, and Tom Brands, the good steaks, good people, a great job by the emcee, and a certain feline roaming through the festivities....it was fun to be a part of! I could listen to Norm and Tom talk for hours. I was laughing so much at their stories, and the "roll" by Tom, showing Jon Miller how to properly do a move, my face was hurting at the end of the evening from smiling so much.
I had the honor of sitting next to Norm Parker, and Jon Miller, as they were hashing out the spread vs the vier. At one point, when Jon was ready to introduce Coach Parker, I had the feline that was roaming under the tables in my hands ready to take outside, Coach Parker, jokingly said, I'll bring that cat up to Jon on stage...ha ha...would have been funny to see.
