There seems little doubt Texas has been contacted, whether by the Big Ten, SEC or Pac 10, at least informally. Interesting comments from Dodds and I may be reading into it too much, but for him to say "We're going to be a player in whatever happens" and "If the landscape is going to change, we’re going to be a part of it and be a viable part of it" means to me they are considering any overtures that are coming their way.

Close- but Mack Brown doesn't hide his usual speak of "We'll do what's best for Texas"

If the Big Ten is best for Texas you bet they'll do it- if not, well then they're going to get a heck of a deal from someone else or be stubborn enough to go it alone.
