tebow and the broncos

i have nothing against tim. i just dont think this style will work for yr after yr in the pros.

but i believe that if the broncos or any team wants to go for it they have to fully do it. not half way like the broncos are now. they need back ups that can run the offense so they dont have 2 playbooks. and wrs who block and a great defense the whole nine.

i would kind of like to see a pro team try it and see if it would work.

I just don't think this kind of offense is going to work at this level. I want to see him have success in the league, and lots of it. But teams will eventually figure this out and it won't work anymore. We might be seeing the beginning of this now.

Hell, even in college the best defenses tend to shut offenses like this down. NFL defenses, and more importantly DC's, will figure it out.

i agree with this but i just think if you are going to try give it all you got. you need 3 qbs that can run it. the right wrs, rbs, line, etc. they obviously have 2 playbooks. 1 for tim and 1 for their backups.

I'm a Dolphins fan and can remember a few years ago when they had great sucess with the wildcat offense for about half a season. Teams then figured it out and it was not effective. I see the same thing happening with Tebow and the Broncos offense.

this is completely different than the wildcat. the wildcat truely has very little passing out of it. not saying tebow is a good passer. he isnt but he is better than a wildcat qb which is just a rb.

i think truely running a spread option attack in the pros is something i would like to see if it works. but you have to commit to it. i believe the pro style is superior but id like to see if it would work.

You'd need Oregon speed. They do not have it.

Good lawd, how many more Tebow threads do we need? Isn't the ESPN coverage enough.
