Teams Iowa needs to root for to get back in the Top 10 (Good Read)

Game 1- (8)Oklahoma vs (21) Texas- In this game we will need to root for for Texas so the Big 12 South favorite teams each have a loss giving Iowa an advantage because we played a PAC 10 contender in 'Zona and Tex. played a bottom feeder in UCLA and lost big. Lets go Texas!
Game 2- (11) Wisconsin vs (24)Mich St.- No matter what this game will help Iowa. Preferably we need Wiscy to win so we get a top 10 team at Kinnick which would boost us up in the standings .\
Game 3- (1) Alabama vs (7) Florida- As much as I want 'Bama to win we need them to lose so a sloppy Florida will drop back in the polls. If Florida upsets 'Bama Ohio St will become the number 1 team which would be great for when they play Iowa at Kinnick stadium.
Game 4- (16) Miami vs Clemson/(12)LSU vs Tennesse- these games are simply for Iowa to move up in the polls. I think with an Iowa win and a Miami loss we will take the number 16 spot and if LSU who looked sloppy against WVU also loses we will be around 14th in the country. As long as one of these teams loses tonite we should be in good hands.
Game 5- (23)NCST vs Virgina Tech- We need to root for NCST simply so the Boise St. win against VT looks worse than it already is. This game will pay off for Iowa in the next couple of weeks as the BCS polls come out and the computers who favor Iowa alot will not favor BSU due to strength of schedule. Please comment and leave other Games that Iowa fans need to watch.

I don't think it's a bad read IOWA, but the fact that you credited yourself with a "good read" is kinda lame. Decent insights and good idea brining it up, nothing earth shattering though.
 
Typical responses. Sadly, I'm not surprised. Instead of offering up opinions on things like whether Texas losing will help or hurt. (I think having them with 2 loses is ok, let's get them out of the picture, so we aren't annoyed by them later if Iowa has a magical run and major computer / poll bump.) Or, that Miami winning on the road might be the desired long term result, given that THE Ohio State's win over them helps Iowa in the long run. But, instead, people feel good about themselves by gobbling up the easy flamer treats. A suggestion to rephrase the post title isn't out of line, but the rudeness is, well, expected on this board. Don't worry about it. And sit back and enjoy the continued flaming, directed towards me now, prolly. (I typed prolly, I hope that annoyed someone).
 
I love it- living in Texas... the wife (native texan) is now royally upset and not talking to anyone just in time for the Hawkeyes. It's a beautiful thing!
