I hate Ohio State with a passion, but I do like the fact that they usually play some pretty good competition in their non-conference schedule (recently USC, Texas, Miami, FL)
That got me thinking about some potential teams that I would love to see matched up with Iowa in the non-conference season.
The games that would interest me the most:
1. Notre Dame - I would love to beat down the Irish in a Prime Time NBC match-up.
2. USC - Revenge
3. Florida State - I don't think we have ever played them and I think it would be a cool match-up
4. Alabama - Defense anyone?
5. Oklahoma - Stoops vs. Ferentz would be a storyline in its own.
