Tate, Holloway forever bonded by 'The Catch'

Good read and I will never forget that moment for as long as I am alive. I went from screaming at the TV for them to call timeout to jumping up and down.

I was in my basement, and my mom was outside and she heard me scream from the driveway!!! That was a magical moment!

And then hi-fiving everyone in the room and chugging another beer...:D

What if you are involved in some sort of accident or have a trauma that causes blood flow to your brain to cease for several minutes leaving you in a vegetative state until your death? You will be alive while in the vegetative state, but will you still remember that moment? Maybe you should think about things like that before making bold pronouncements. Have a good weekend.

I was at FryFest last year...just wandering around looking at t-shirts etc. As I moved around one of the racks, I almost bumped into Warren. He was just hanging out, looking at stuff like a fan.

Had a brief chat, and I asked if we was tired yet of people talking to him about "the catch". He just grinned that grin and said Noooo man, not at all. I love Iowa.

Good guy

At that moment and for the following several months I made the egregious mistake of thinking Iowa had "turned the corner." The sting of that loss at Wal-Mart early in the 2005 season was bad, then the OSU thrashing just piled on. Of course, the Michigan OT loss hurt bince it broke the home win streak, but nothing made the fact that Iowa had not, in fact, turned the proverbial corner hit home like this:

That's because the guy hasn't had to buy a drink in the state since then.

this post is like the first time you drive drunk down gravel roads in high school and halfway there you hit a soft shoulder and go careening sideways toward a high grass bank but just before impact you manage to save it with a ccombination of dumb luck and pure athletic ability and when you get home you nervously laugh about it only to pray your friends don't notice the ginormocal pis5 stain in your pants.

I have a number of friends that are LSU fans and collected a nice booty on a couple of bets. It put us on the map with SEC fans.

They thought we were all slow....

I didnt even see the throw... I was outside screaming and kicking a garbage can so p#ssed at kok for running the clock down... Came back in as my parents were going nuts right when Halloway caught it... I learned my lesson that day. Kok is a genius
