Target Field

is amazing! I was up there over the weekend for the Lakers game, and had the chance to go over to the new pavilion area they have constructed around the stadium with monuments and everything. I was not able to go into the stadium, but checked out everything through the gates. I can't imagine how crazy downtown Minneapolis will be tomorrow afternoon/evening! They have also changed NBA City (popular restaurant that is connected to the Target Center) to "Hubert's Place and have plenty of outdoor seating along the walkway to the pavilion that leads up to Gate 34 in right field (in honor of Kirby, of course). The other downtown bars and restaurants are ready to go, and there are signs everywhere promoting "outdoor baseball." Can't wait to get up there for an actual game!

I've seen it from the outside, nice looking stadium. Certainly passes the eye test.

Great location too.

Beautiful looking stadium, but I still can't figure out why they didn't put a retractable roof on it. If the Twins ever make the World Series and have to host games there in November, it could be brutal.

Beautiful facility, I've been in. Funny side note:

On the Twins' (or perhaps the Star Tribune) website there's a tour of the park hosted by one of the project managers. As they pan back for one shot, there on his hard hat is a Tiger Hawk! Kinnick North lives!
