Takeaways: Iowa-Penn St

4 straight games this season where Iowa's passing game did nothing after the first 2 drives of the game.

It's like Brian has a couple of good plays he can call and then that's it. He's out of good plays.

Cade's lack of mobility is hurting Iowa and his passing is not making up for it.

Let's just face it, the decision to make Brian the QB coach in 2022 has been a complete disaster.

Gotta call you out Rob.

The individual tackles stat of certain players is misleading. When the other team runs 97 plays from scrimmage there are going to be multiple players racking up double digit tackles. On paper it looks impressive, but within the context of how that game unfolded it didnt.

Like saying a silver lining of WW2 for the axis was all the experience they got defending.

It is Bohenkamp you are calling out, not Rob.

Nick Jackson looks a lot better now than he did in week one. With Fisher they can play a lot more 4-3 if they choose too. Bohenkamp wasn’t wrong.

Oops, should have paid closer attention.

The linebacker position, which was a concern coming into the season given what we lost, has been solid enough-and improving.

Back end, particularly Nwampka, has some work to do. X got beat on a slant and on a fade for TD's-not a good sign. And we are giving up too much YAC.

Granted those weren't pure slant and fade routes and there was probably some rubbing (picking) going on, and both balls were well thrown, but future OC's are going to see this and he's going to be picked on often till he adjusts. And speaking of those balls, wasn't it refreshing to see a QB who had the cajones to put the ball in those spots and let his receiver make a play?

Seldom happens around here. You saw Brian's reaction last week when Cade got picked in the end zone. Daddy probably made his son clap all the blackboard erasers at halftime:)

Offensive O QB can take some blame but not all . With this OLine we need a QB that can run scramble . Are recuriting is a problem not many people are talking about it and it’s only going to get worse. We need to make coaching changes or we’re going back to the 70s.
Been back in the 70’s for years
