Tailgating at Minnesota

My brothers and I are heading to Minneapolis for the first time since TCF Bank has opened. I've looked on the University of Minnesota website, but it's not very helpful to determine where visiting fans can tailgate. It seems like most lots are non-tailgating. Has anyone been up there previously and can give me some suggestions on where to tailgate as a Hawkeye fan? Thanks.

The Twin Cities Iowa Club is putting on a tailgate on Saturday, feel free to set up shop there if you like. It's a short walk from the TCF Bank stop on the Green Line if you are traveling by public transportation.

State Fair Park in St. Paul is a nice option. Lots of room, grassy field, lots of Iowa fans. Also, for $10 you can get a bus ride directly to the stadium and return after the game. Very convenient.
