Tailgate generator question

I am thinking of getting a Vuqube and bringing my DirecTV receiver and 27" flatscreen to the games this year. Do you guys think a 1000w generator will be sufficient and do you have any recommendations?

Most electronic devices have a label on them telling the wattage or amps it needs to function. Total the numbers and you will need at least that much and in most cases you want double. That said I'd be surprised that any TV would use as little as 1000 watts.
