Jon- on the "other site" they have bar like you have on the top left (formum, forums, site feedback) on the bottom of each page and not just the top. A lot of other chat boards have that too. The advantage is after you read a page of threads you don't have to scroll back up to the top to return to somewhere else or get out of the thread. It just saves time and would be a nice addition to HN.
