Everyone state some plays for KOK to put in his playbook and exacute! And then someone deliver it to him.....

(WILDCAT)-NOT JUST A DIFFERENT QB,BUT A WR, RB, OR ATHLETIC TYPE PERSON.

WR- END AROUND ( STATUE OF LIBERTY PLAY)

FLANKER/WR QUICK SCREEN. TRIPS ON ONE SIDE,THROW TO THE OTHER SIDE.

CENTER OF THE FIELD TB/FB ScREEN.

DRAW PLAY. With an actual pump and play-fake.Not just a hurried CLUSTER F***.

WR/HALFBACK PASS ( SOMEONE WHO CAN,STOP SET AND ACTUALLY COMPLETE A PASS.

PUTTING A TIGHTEND IN THE BACKFIELD FOR ADDED PROTECTION.

REMEMBER WHEN WE THREW TO A TIGHTEND? YES LET'S TRY THAT 10 TIMES A GAME.CJ??

I'm not a coach, but Damn. Let's show a little imagination and trickery!!!!!!!!!!

And for THE CAP'T, an onside kick, fake punt, would be a welcome suprise!!!

Please add your plays to the open letter/plea to KOK. This is meant to be ++ positive ++

DOUBLE REVERSE WR PASS

HALF BACK PASS

FAKE PUNT, SNAP TO THE UP MAN.

HOOK AND LADDER AT LEAST ONCE A GAME

Those plays plus many more were in his playbook when he came to Iowa. KF ripped them out of the playbook with the admonishment: "We don't do sexy here at Iowa, don't want to run the possibility of having a sexual harassment charge leveled against us."

This is OT, but with regards to your screen name: per chance does it refer to The Hustler, starring Paul Newman? If so, kudos. Excellent reference.

hike the ball, then pretend there is something wrong with it while walking to the ref, when you are in the clear, run.

in all seriousness.

1) Counter
2) Halfback screen
3) Quick hit to WR - We should have run this to mcnutt 2-3 times a game this year.

It is not so much a list of a whole bunch of plays. We know they have a list of a whole bunch of plays.

I think the problem is no imagination. When the running game is going great guns it is time to play action and hit the home run, a long TD pass.

When the running game is going great guns and they put the 8th guy in the box then that is the time to fake the run , slip the fb out off the fake block and hit him for a big gain.

When we can throw the outs and run the ball then the middle hash patterns to the tight end should be wide open.

I just dont see a strategy where we have the defense or make the defense make adjustments to our offense and then we are ready to counterattack.

I have to reiterate that I dont think KOK is basing his calls on what he thinks the defense is going to do.

We all know a defense can only cover certain positions on the field. I think KOK needs to set up the defense to call his best offense to attack where their defense is weakest.

I think Leach at Texas Tech was one of the best at doing this. He ran that passing offense but would run the ball effectively also, BYU did this also, usually a great draw team in their passing offense.
