Iowa: Non-Con--Iowa State, Arkansas State, and Arizona all take W's today.
In conference, Penn State wins, Michigan loses. MSU record: 4-4 after today.

Cincinnati: Non-Con--Oregon State and Miami (OH) lose. Fresno State wins.
In conference, Rutgers wins, South Florida loses. Louisville record: 2-5 after today.

Boise State: Non-Con--Bowling Green and Tulsa lose. Oregon wins. In Conference: Fresno State wins. Hawaii record: 2-5 after today (it's 34-0, so I think it's over).

Assuming the poll numbers stay the same (I think they will, unless TCU jumps up), It seems pretty obvious Iowa probably jumps at least Cincinnati, maybe Boise State too. What do you guys think?

Human polls will drop Iowa at least one spot since TCU, BSU and Cincy all won big! Pollsters will wake up and see the lack of flashy stats and how Iowa had to win against a .500 team. Bank on it!

Wasn't Iowa tied with Cincy or at least close to it in the BCS? If they were I'd think Iowa would jump them.

Iowa won't drop a spot in the Human polls. They will start to realize that all teams have games like this i.e. Florida (twice in two weeks) and Alabama.

I think the only way we drop in the polls is if TCU jumps up in the Harris poll. They were already ahead of us in the Coach's poll.

Cincy was ahead by .0001 points but it depends on where human polls place Cincy and Iowa. My guess is from what we've seen already is that Iowa will be punished in human polls for "winning ugly" and Cincy will be rewarded for winning pretty (even if it was Louisville). I see it as something like this:

1. Florida
2. Texas
3. Alabama
4. Cincy
5. BSU
6. TCU
7. Iowa
8. USC
9. Oregon
10. LSU

It's Big Ten bias. I was listening to these SEC games and they were gloating over how tough the defenses were and how deep the SEC is. It is viewed as hard fought win. Iowa beat a .500 team on the road with a last second play. It's just bias.

The computer polls will probably keep giving us respect though. I'm holding out hope that the humans give us respect for winning in three of the four toughest non-kinnick Big Ten stadiums.
