Was hoping he was going to protect Baker and my Browns. Congrats to him though, he is going to this years current super bowl favorite (yuck). We'll see how that preseason hype works out for them.

This is exactly why I don't bet on sports.
I was very close to putting down a couple of grand in Vegas that he would be #8 or higher. Decided not to.

He may have been taken later, but because Florida has no state income tax, he'll probably end up netting more than a couple of the OTs taken ahead of him. Plus, he gets to play with Brady, and now Gronk. There will be a lot of buzz around the Bucs this fall. Good place for him to go.

You get the feeling Brady is gonna be in his ear a few times. That's how the GOAT rolls.
As bummed as I was to see him start sliding in the end it's a way better deal for him. Tampa Bay. No state taxes. Cost of living will be cheaper then NYC if he'd have went to either of those 2. Better organization then the Browns. Play with Tom Freaking Brady. I think he's just in an overall much better situation & fit. Good for him and his family.

He did. Came back this year to the Pats, then was traded to the Bucs for a 4th round pick.
It'll make him a better player though.
