STORY: Josh Ogundele Can't Lose No Matter What Luka Garza Decides

This was really a good article. I am continually impressed with the ability of our recruits to express themselves in articulate terms. I also appreciate the maturity they exhibit in their comments. It makes me proud that we recruit and sign this type of young people. I would say the same for Lisa’s athletes as well as our our football players.

if he has nothing else, he has a legit B1G body, something Adam Woodbury and Jarrod uthoff never quite had.

Cook did. Pemsl did his freshman year but it aggravated leg issues from earlier surgeries and he had to play at a lesser weight
I couldn't let the weird statement about Woody pass. Um, Woody was listed at 245 his freshmen year, the EXACT same weight as this young man now. https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/schools/iowa/2013.html

Woody had holes in his game and the vertical of a field cow, but having a big ten body was never a weakness in his game.

He was probably stronger than he appeared, but those 245 lbs didn't always go very far. He got buried in the post quite often.

I think the best part of JO working behind LG is that he'll experience Luka's work ethic and see that's how you become great.
No doubt about it. Being told what it takes and being shown are just totally different. Luka has that affect on the whole team I'm sure in that regard. He's a coaches dream. Hopefully JO will become his shadow this year (probably can't get them to be roomates but that'd be ideal too)
