As an aside, if my math is right, this is the 10th retired number for Iowa...there are only 36 eligible numbers in college (0-5, 10-15, etc through 50-55). So we are coming up on 1/3 of our eligible jersey numbers being retired? Wow.

Except that three of our active players are wearing "retired" jerseys. In fact, PMac Is the first Hawkeye men's player I've seen wear #22 in 43 years of following Iowa basketball.
