It is likely really irritating to a small number of our posters when they get reminded of JBO’s record setting career. Yeah, yeah, he can’t play defense. He is a liability when he doesn’t score lots of points, if you are going to ignore his records for assists. Oh well.

One thing all of these 1,000 point scorers have in common....not one Big Ten Regular Season Title among the bunch. Even the great Armstrong, Marble, Horton teams. The door is still open this year, but for how long?

Hell of a league in those days. Three B1G teams made the Final Four during their careers, two won it all.
A fourth team (Michigan State in 1986) would have made the Final Four if not for a "clock malfunction" vs Kansas in Kansas City. I won't mention what happened to a certain fifth team in 1987.

No question about it, but it would be nice if Iowa were to break the glass ceiling sometime.

But none of those subjective rating systems (that could care less about Iowa) are as brilliant and in touch with the national college landscape as the multitude of geniuses with a much different viewpoint on here.
