Maybe I am slow on the uptake and can't sense sarcasm/humor, but please tell me that all of the references from Iowa fans of Steve Lavin as coach are a big, coordinated joke.
Of all of the possibilities out there is this guy someone who people think is a) a good coach, b) is the best option for Iowa and c) wouldn't make Iowa the laughing stock of college basketball if he were hired as head coach?
Please, please tell me that any reference to Lavin other than his role as an announcer is a joke that I haven't been getting.
