Harden had a hell of a year though. Curry is amazing, but the Western Conference guard play is so strong that it's hard to feel bad when guys get left out.
Maybe next year.

I was completely wrong on Curry I thought he would struggle to get his shot off in the NBA.....his quick release is just unreal. Steph and his bro just simply know how to play. I realize coaching your kids is a little bit different, but man Dell Curry should be on a bench somewhere not as HC necessarily, but in some capacity.
You leave off Howard, Aldridge or Lee. My choice would have been Howard.
The All-star game should be about the best players. No need to be too concerned about position. Particularly when there are not really any truly huge offensively dominant big men right now.
Seriously, who among this group would have covered Curry? Chris Bosh, Brook Lopez,Joakim Noah, Tyson Chandler, Paul George, Luol Deng?

Howard was voted in as a starter, David Lee led the league in double doubles, I believe, and Aldridge is a great player. I could see Curry in for Lee or Aldridge, but that's not how they make the team.
As for who guards Curry, I agree. D Wade, Jrue Holiday or Kyrie Irving would be the best matchups for him, but Curry has proven he can get his shot off on anyone. Also, who does Curry guard? He is not the best defensive player. For instance, Wade and Irving would abuse Curry on the other end.
Curry also really took off after the all star break. He averaged 21 ppg before and 26 ppg after while shooting 4% better and increasing his assists. With what Curry had done before the break he didn't deserve to be selected over any of the guards in the West.
What's the point of this question? Who is Curry guarding out of that group? Any one of those guys would destroy Curry on the offensive end.
