Stanzi Stats

I thought it would be fun to see what Ricki's stats have been like during his tenure at Iowa.

**NOTE: I understand a) 2010 isn't finished yet, these include his stats to this point in the season, and b) I realize he didn't play a ton in 2007, but since he is on record playing, those are included too.

It might appear that Chuck Long owns just about every QB record at Iowa...well, he does. There aren't that many he doesn't own. The few he doesn't own, most are owned by Chuck Hartlieb. Brad Banks owns one (100% completion % per game (vs NW 2002)) and Scott Mullen ties Chuck Hartlieb at 60 pass attempts per game (1999 and 1988 respectively, both vs Indiana). Every other QB record is owned by Hartlieb & Long (sounds like a law firm) :)

Chuck Long was the man. I don't know how he wasn't a damn fine NFL QB....oh thats right, he was drafted by the Lions where his line was comprised of swiss cheese.

My son and I have gone round and around about Ricky. Last year he drove me crazy with the int''s and other decisions. I didn't really appreciate him until the N'Western game. When he went down, the team deflated, even the defense. I knew then he was the leader they all respected. It has been great to see him mature and improve into a very good QB. As a team, they need to regain the Mojo they had last year, and have that swagger. Go Hawks
