I loved the comment, "we want to play on the other side of the line of scrimmage." I think that sums it up. I would also agree after watching some 2018 highlights that our backs left plenty of yards out there. Seeing the cut back lanes and seams in a defense is an underrated skill. It's essential. Shonn Greene and Akrum Wadley had an innate ability to see the field and they always seemed to make the right cut choice to get the max yards on any given play. That's a good running back.
Hopefully these guys put it together and use their eyes more successfully.
