Not a ton of surprises there. The offensive line will be interesting to watch. Lauck definitely will push Dotzler. Same with Myslinski pushing Pieper at RG. Pieper is the kind of guy coaches love, but he's really limited in terms of strength and athleticism.
The interior of the defensive line looks pretty suspect beyond Graves. Very thin.
Interesting to see Weisskopf at Cash. He's a hell of an athlete, though.
I was sorry to see John Nestor hit the portal. That was a big surprise for me. He was pushing for a starting spot last season, and his parents moved to West Branch from Chicago last year after his dad accepted the head football coach position. I've met his parents a few times. His mom is a hoot. I'm trying to get more inside info there, but definitely never saw that coming.

I heard it talked about on some pods.. I dunno I just think he's too slow to play at either safety position. To me he shoulda put on 10 lbs and played that cash/lb spot. Cause he can tackle he likes to hit going downhill. But he can't seem to cover anyone and prevent catches and still blows a coverage all together sometimes. Maybe others see it differently with him but that's what I've seen
As far as skill guys go I hope we see more of TWJ number 8 and number 23 the Brevin Doll kid from Adel. Hopefully those two versatile fast guys can see more of the field this yr. We saw some of TWJ and I loved what he brings to the table. Doll has straight up track speed and should be fun to see him out there too.
