Did anyone else think that the botched FG looked like a planned "fake"? Granted, the snap was high, but I was thinking fake before the snap due to the length/angle of the kick. Maybe it was just a broken play, either way it was poorly executed.

It was just a bad snap. Donahue made the right play there. He tried to get it down, realized it was no good, and just picked it up rather than risk a block.
But seriously, it's time to stop talking about how we beat ourselves. Wisconsin beat us. These mistakes have happened in EVERY GAME this season, and the two good teams we've played parlayed those mistakes into wins, and the one decent team almost won. But we were making some of the same stupid mistakes against ISU, EIU, BSU and PSU too. These mistakes are just a part of who this team is this year, whether we like it or not.
