Something I notice that has happen in the past

Usually about his time our best player has transfered. I think 4 years in a row. Glad to see that has finally stopped. Finally have a coach that can relate to players again.
 


I know you posted in all sincerity but I must ask you to delete your post or for Jon to delete this thread. We do not want ANY talk, hint, whiff of a transfer, at least among the top 6-7 players. Not this year. The program badly needs a break as Fran seeks to rebuild it.

Little superstitious are we?
Typing it on a message board or removing it won't change anything if someone has it on their mind. See Fuller. After talking with FM why would you take off to play elsewhere? Obviously other reasons for Aaron.
 


I'm glad that our best players both came with to Iowa for Fran. Really lessens the chance that our best player will leave in the offseason...
 






Gatens is not when of our best players... he should be. Sometimes I wonder if he reads the message boards and we got in his head and ruined his shooting confidence.

I think getting swatted almost every drive to the basket certainly wasn't a confidence boost.
 


makes you wonder if Fuller wishes he was back here, or if he's still glad with the decision he made. he'd sure be great to have still.
 




He (Gatens) plays very consistent and sound ball. You know what you'll get from him each game and he typically has spurts in which he scores a few quick baskets. I still think he really improves this offseason because of it being his second year in the Fran system and almost a year after his injury.
 


I think Matt was a very good and consistent player coming out of HS...but he was ready to play right away and didn't have a very high ceiling....but he was a solid player coming out of hs.
 


Don't know if Fuller keeps in touch with any of the guys on the team, but if he doesn't and just looks at our final record form afar, he probably thinks he made the right decision. In any event, I think he was gone no matter who was the Iowa coach this year.
