Is this year's version doing a lot more man blocking on run plays than previous years?
I don't review every play from every game, but it appears to a layman like me that we are doing quite a bit of man blocking. I don't know if that's a response by the coaching staff to the relative inexperience of this year's line (man blocking is certainly a lot easier to grasp than zone blocking), if it's a strength of this year's OL (scratch where it itches) or if I'm just plain crazy.
Thoughts anyone?
