Some real good defense but just terrible offense

The defense got a lot of 3 and outs, stopped a lot of drives, they gave up yards grudgingly even though time of possession was terrible against them.

The offense??? How the hell did the Ferentz's get caught with a true freshman and redshirt freshman at starting at OTackles and they just do not seem to be good enough, quick with their feet, powerful enough. I am sure they are playing as hard and the best they can but after so many great OTackles at Iowa they do not look like our normal starters.

That is it, the offense can't consistently run or pass the ball.

For 3 qtrs, especially the first half Petras rarely had more than 2 seconds to find and guage a receiver before getting hit or someone in his grill. And Petras didnt have a great game but who would

Haha, yes, but I have said all year the hawks 1st qtr offense is just terrible so better wake them up and hour earlier.

I sensed it was SSDD in September when they struggled against Akron and CSU.

Offense is Kirk Ferentz's blind spot. He has a very high tolerance of poor offense. His frame of reference is 20+ years ago.

I think he probably made another bad hire at the OLine coach ...the previous one gave us the same results.

The All American, the injured experienced guys and the young guys who can't play competitive football. Sometimes its the 5th year senior who finally gets to play who can't compete too.

A culture of accountability does not exist in the Athletic Department. Gary works for Kirk. So long as Kirk is there they will not win the West.
