I spent a day being overly critical and then read some positive comments I can see more things to be positive about. Someone has probably said them somewhere before but I dont read every single post in every thread.
- At the end of the first half after the defense stopped NIU a timeout was called to preserve clock. I about fell out of my chair. The offense then moved the ball with a two minute offense and clock management was much better than in the past. They self distructed but it was encouraging.
- The defense made good second half adjustments.
- The team, all phases, rallied from a two score deficit to win.
- Davis called an unexpected run on 3rd and 9 that resulted in a TD.
- Meyers can kick the ball accurately 50 yds while falling over.
