So why am I not hearing Nate Meier's name in the running back talk?

This is the 8man running back that averaged a ton a yards a game last year in high school...he is like 6'2ish 235lb.... Not sure if they actually wanted him to play RB or LB but he wears #34 and was recruited as a RB I think...anyone know where he is practicing?

Would like to see him run the ball since everyone else is hurt.

He is redshirting and I don't believe he'll play RB at Iowa.

I bet Malloy is upset that he was sick this week as this game could have been a great opportunity for him. I don't know if he would have got carries ahead of Weisman, probably not, but he probably would have shared some of the load. It worked out well for us anyway without him.

My guess is that if you are on teh bench behind Rudy, you're not that good to begin with.

That was my guess but have seen him dressed on the sidelines and based on the circumstances (injuries) I thought maybe he could get a look....

Do you know what position he is practicing? LB or DL?

Malloy came down sick on Tuesday. They then shifted Weisman to some tailback reps as insurance.
