1) Hawks win (duh)
2) OSU manhandling MSU (important)
3) Penn St pulling one off against Michigan (would be nice to knock UM way down in the pecking order)
4) Northwestern upsetting YouDub in Madison (not super important cause Becky, we are locking the West ourselves)

etc?
 
Yes the hawks should be wrapping up the West but but always good to have that cushion, go wildcats.

Not sure about msu vs osu as I think the hawks defense is better against non running qbs. I want the hawks to have a shot at undefeared osu but Elliott and barretts running out of that formation scares me
 
We will have the division wrapped if we win once Wisconsin plays. Wisconsin winning gives us the best chance of keeping 2 of our opponents in the top 25
 
I'm so torn on who I want to face in the championship game. I know if we win out, we pretty much guarantee the Rose Bowl at minimum if our opponent is OSU, so part of me wants that. If we play a Michigan team, that greatly helps our chances at winning and getting into the playoffs, but there is a very good chance we miss the Rose with a loss.


I can't help but root for our most likely path to the playoffs even if it might cost us the Rose Bowl. Go MSU.
 
According to Saben it will be quite a test for bama. Maybe he is worried about dropping out of the top four with a close win? What joke the SEC playing cupcakes in the third week of November!

I think Minnesota beats WI last game of season. I can really see that, and I do not like MN.

From a potential adversary point of view I am with you topdawg as MSU's back 4 on defense seems to be weaker than Osu. And Osu's running game seems stronger than sparty. I think the line play between each team is about the same so sparty might be the weaker opponent.

But at the same time a 2nd loss to sparty with Iowa winning the West almost guarantees Iowa the Rose bowl although I think the hawks can beat OSU in the big champ game. The Hawk dee can stop the run and generally plays good pass defense. The hawk offense can run and pass so I think they can beat any of the 3 East teams that might be in the Big Champ game.

UNC wins out and beats Clemson.

Notre Dame loses to Stanford.

Iowa wins out and beats an undefeated OSU in the B1G championship game.

Stanford wins the Pac12 championship game

Oklahoma and Oklahoma St. each have 1 loss.

I wanna see the committee squirm like crazy and pick 4 teams from this group:

Now that would be an awesome playoff.
 
Iowa wins
tOSU wins so our win in the BigTen title game carries the most weight
ISU loses in an embarrassing manner

That should cover it.
 
Cheering for Iowa and Sparty.

I want to play a team in the Big Ten title game that gives us the best chance of winning and I think that's Sparty.

I have the same exact feeling towards that game. There's no doubt in my mind that we can beat MSU. OSU is just a bad matchup for us.
