So what happens if Iowa does not block the kicks?

poorly. We don't come back in a lot of the games that we were behind I think. Many of the players have pointed to those blocked kicks as giving them the feeling that they could do anything this season.

Honestly I think they end up 11-1.

A wake up call may have benefitted this group...better it come in week one then week 10

I don't think much changes other than Iowa stays way down in the polls for a lot longer.

On the flip side... What if Stanzi does't get sacked?

Then don't post.
its his way of telling you this thread topic is stupid.

I don't think its stupid but the question is trivial. What ifs could be applied to any point in the season.

What if the Indiana touchdown was called correctly?

what if Austen arnaud wouldn't have thrown 38 interceptions in the ISU game.

We had a lot of close games this year, but a loss to UNI would have hurt the most. However, I don't think it changes our record much as we would have ended at 9-3 with a Cap One trip. The win at Iowa State the following week was the biggest win of the season as it gave this team the confidence it needed to compete the rest of the season. I remember being very nervous the week before ISU thinking to myself since we barely beat UNI, that it could be a long long year. I felt much better after putting it on the Clones in Ames. Each game after that I felt we had a good chance to win.

What if they had thrown a fade on the final play against MSU?

It's always fun to speculate on what might have been at the end of the year, but there was so much that happened this year that either turned a game in Iowa's favor, and usually those things happened right when it seemed like the oppenent was going to deliver the kill shot.

Blocking 2 kicks against UNI, Sash's intereception against Indiana, etc..

the indiana touchdown was absolutely called correctly. his foot/leg did not land inbounds.

Yes it did. It was a touchdown, Indiana got jobbed on that call. There was nothing there that would convince anyone that the call on the field (a touchdown) was wrong.

Now you sound like Dr. Screw Holtz after the Wisky game, "Ia won, but they were aided by the Badger turnovers". Don't give the D any credit for CAUSING those TOs in BOTH games.

Are you still saying this? Of course his leg was in bounds. You probably just chose not to look at the other angle in which it is obvious he was
