Northern Illinois would not be playing for a National Championship and why does this need to be a thread?
 
Must be exactly how NU and OSU fans felt around this time in 2010.


BTW's.......games James Vandenburg couldn't win either.
 
Iowa would be 3 & 9 which would have made KF coaching job this year an even bigger joke. Happy New Year Kurt. Great time of year to go get some recruits. Oh wait doesn't the fearless leader of the program have a cruise to go on? Why not reward this staff for a job well done? If Barta had any nuts he would tell KF that the only way he and the staff go is if they win 8 games each year.

Who knows, if they would have lost and gotten sunburn from the exposure they may have improved a bit more and hardened their resolve.

Did you notice the unmitigated slaughter of Big 10 teams during the bowl season? Teams that pounded Iowa, were soundly hammered. Ah yes, we [kirk] "must be pretty good!"

Don't waste your time Scooter. Some people don't get that NO ONE is happy with the way the season played out or the state of the program, even Ferentz. Of course he said he wasn't worried or whatever his exact quote was but Ferentz isn't going to publicly critize his team and throw anyone under the bus, when has he ever done that.

Let me blow his gasket, maybe he will stop posting for a while and we won't have to read the same tired old rant everyday.
 
Jordan Lynch would have gotten overconfident and given some bizarro interview to Sporting News where he taunts the Kent State Golden Flashes defense before the MAC Chmpionship game. Kent State wins that game and goes to the Orange Bowl, defeating Florida State by seven touchdowns.
