Yeah, they were really talking him up. They said that he was catching everything around him during the scrimmage and supposedly he's been doing it all Spring. I'm really hoping he pans out.

Short route with YAC... helps the run game...which helps the play action.
Throw in a reasonably mobile QB and a good Online....offense could surprise. I still think 8 wins might be the ceiling....and unfortunately 6 or fewer is still possible.

Yep 83 was everywhere, all day. I thought Alston made some plays. Scherff looks really good. Canzeri had a bunch if nice runs.

That first 'pass' play looked like Iowa's right back on track..that 83 is small and I mean fidget small. Dallas Clark was from Iowa and he was a walkon too?? Holy Toledo thats news.

16 - CJ Beathard especially, and 19 - Cody Sokol had the better arms.
15 - Jake Rudock had more of a handle on plays.
Are Ferentz and Davis looking (hoping?) either 16 or 19 get a better handle on plays?
