So are we playing a Bowl game today?

New Years bowl in Florida and it seems like not to many are excited? Hey Clones play a bowl in Texas and take 25,000 fans and run them out of beer. Are we just stuck in a 7-5 syndrome? Is our offense so pedestrian that it's difficult to stay awake at times? Is our fan base just getting old? are we just sure we have almost no chance against another SEC team? I guess I might be guilty on all counts
If we were playing this game in 1980 after years of struggle i'll bet we would have 30,000 fans in Florida

Well at least we wont run out of beer. My wife said we have 3 cans left and I told her that would be plenty
 
I've checked msu forums to see what they are saying, and theirs are also pretty quiet. Not sure what to make of it.

We're used to it. We do it on a regular basis. They've never done it, so they're excited with anything. We're way beyond that.
 
Nobody cares about meaningless bowl games anymore, especially in a year where we beat nobody and let NW win the West in our house.
 
Iowa has had 4 decades of success that the clowns can’t match, if they were to get to a bowl game like this it will be a once in a lifetime event. Iowa will continue to get into bowls of this level or better. The fan base is still pumped about this game, but it’s nothing out of the ordinary. The players will also take care of business like 2004 and 2009.
 
Watched the video of last nights festivities from the Iowan. The band and cheerleaders seemed less than enthusiastic.
 
Holy crap, O-line better figger out a way to open holes and protect Stanley. Or it’s gonna be a loooonnngggg afternoon.

I feel sorry for you.... only having 3 cans of beer left.
