The game needs to be finished like they did with George Brett's pine tar game as Buster Olney suggests. This is a travesty. The A's won the west last year by one game. one, and while this only ties the game up, it was still blown by the officials.

agreed - at the end of the season, in many cases, you realize how every game ends up being important. this call was just brutal. why even have instant replay if the obvious ones can't, in the end, be corrected.
Wow, A Hernandez is a lousy ump with really thin skin. This just proves it even more.
If he cant see this is a homer then how can he call balls and strikes.
I was watching that cubs game when mongo mcmichael called out hernandez on national TV. And it was called for as Hernandez was butchering calls behind the plate.
