Should shrimp Izzo be suspended for 1 game?

Incarceration for at least a game day with no TV privileges and no smartphones......

If he's a good boy, maybe radio permission.....

I don't know, but the Big 10 opened a new can suspending maccaffery. Izzo went after the official then ripped them in the interview on national television

You guys beat me to it. Berated the officials mercilessly at the end of the first half; voiced a direct, specific criticism of an official's call. A "T" and then a reprimand and/or suspension would be in order, if we use the same reasoning as the BT did for Fran. I am NOT excusing Fran's behavior. He deserved the two T's and probably (that is probably) deserved the suspension. But hey, lets do this in a equitable fashion. The internet message boards, BTW, are the ONLY place I am seeing that Fran allegedly put his hands on a official.

Yeah, but you notice how all the announcers just laugh it off like, "Oh that's just Izzo being Izzo."

Stop the whining, everyone. It's the B1G and we all know the officiating rules come each November.

There's Michigan State, then Wisconsin, occasional Ohio State to give the perception of equity and the rest are merely victims awaiting their home court opportunities.

Izzo charged out on the court tonite, going across midcourt from his bench to yell and scream at the refs. And as far as I could tell there was no tech given,

WTF!!!! Come on, if Fran gets double T, suspension, and fine, and nothing happens to izzo then this is pure ********, izzo should have been teed up, no doubt.

Total double standards and the B1G is becoming a joke. Actually the reffing in the B1g has been a joke since the late 70's.

As someone put it in another thread, bball is almost unwatchable now.

I'm sure those officials will get a call from the Big 10 office to get their act together when working MSU games. If Izzo was mad, then the refs were obviously wrong.
