Why is Iowa not in on this kid? He is an athletic SG that was originally committed to Speraw at UCF. IMO if we are going to hire a former head coach as an assistant then he should be able to bring some bodies to the program.

The kid holds offers from Cinci, Fl, Fl St, K St, Miss, Mizzo, Oregon, SC, UCF and WV.

My guess is he isn't interested in Iowa. That's my only thought.

why would he be interested in Iowa...people need a reality check....we are not going to get top talent....we're going to have to win with some under the radar talent.

Agreed. He may have committed to speraw, but that does not necessarily mean he would be interested in following him to iowa.

exactly....Going to UCF and going to Iowa two different things.

One day Iowa will return to a program that gets the top talent, but I don't think that time is right now. Probably going to have to win with a lot of Basabe and Cartwright types. Under the radar guys. Fran will!
