This guy is one heck of a football player. He has accepted a full ride to North Dakota St, Nebraska just offered him. I hope Iowa jumps on this kid. He's 6'5 200 pounds, runs a 4.9 40. He plays wide receiver, tight end, he's their teams punter, snapper on field goals, plays the wild cat QB on certain plays. He's a hybrid football player. Put another 15-20 pounds on his frame and he will be a force at the receiver position in college.

I was just thinking the same thing, doc. 4.9 doesn't sound fast at all for a receiver... maybe a big blocking TE....

EDIT: Just checked, he's actually nearly 5.0 on 40 time (4.97 according to scout, rivals, yahoo). And at 6'5", he needs more like 30 pounds on that frame.

I think he needs to put on some weight and plan on linebacker or defensive end. I'd want at least a 4.7 40 for a tight end. I would be surprised if he even gets a d-1 offer unless it comes with a change of position. I can't ever remember a wr/te with 4.9 speed.

Doc, don't believe the posted 40 times. It is hard to even know where they come from. Kid has a Nebraska offer, and Iowa is keeping him around as a backup in case Noah Fant goes elsewhere, so I'd say it is safe to say kid is a D1 athlete.

The Fuskers offered him. IIRC it was at TE

Poaching kids from Nebraska is about as bad as poaching them from MAC schools. Oh wait...that statement won't be true for a couple more years or so.

I've seen Shaun play, he is really good! He may not have blazing speed, but at 6'5 he has been a scoring machine for Kennedy. He's physically gifted, and the teams leader.
