Did some research over the weekend and just thought this was an amazing stat that shows what the University of Iowa and coach Ferentz and staff do to prepare these young men for the next level.

Even have a few more if you add Iowa State, UNI connections.

Here are the connections:

New York Jets: Shoon Greene
San Diego Chargers: Nate Kaeding, Tim Dobbins (ISU)
Dallas Cowboys: Scott Chandler (practice squad)
Minnesota Vikings: Chad Greenway, Albert Young, Benny Sapp (Iowa/UNI), Sage Rosenfels (ISU)
Arizona Cardinals: Kenny Iwebema, Kurt Warner (UNI), Brandon Keith (UNI)
Baltimore Ravens: Marshal Yanda, Marcus Paschal
Indianapolis Colts: Dallas Clark, Bob Sanders

And from 6 of the 7 teams, at least one of the players is a starter or significant contributor. And even half have been to the Pro Bowl and/or are All-Pros! Simply put...INCREDIBLE!

so does this mean regis ben of illannoy still hates him some Iowa?!?

After today, we will now have 5 former Hawks playing in next weekend's conference championship games. Three of the four teams feature Hawks on the roster and contribute significant minutes.

Vikings: Greenway, Young
Jets: Greene
Colts: Clark, Sanders

This GUARANTEES that AT LEAST one former Hawkeye will play in the Super Bowl!!!

Knowshawn Moreno is no...

...Shonn Greene.
Nor is "beanie" or Donald what's-his-name from UConn.

Knowshawn: didn't even sniff the playoffs.
Beansack: Arizona shat the bed and he didn't do diddly-poo to prevent it.
The other rook running backs, who cares, they are busters. I mean, Tyrell Sutton?!? Caucasian, please.
