Senior Day

This is going to be one of the most special days in the history of Kinnick Stadium, especially if the Hawks can take care of business on the road.

We will say goodbye to some players who will be talked about in Hawkeye lore for a long long time:

If the Hawks to go into this game with the Big Ten Title on the line and these players playing their last game at Kinnick, there is only one fitting way to send them on their way, and I don't see anyway we lose this game.

IF if wins the two road games, We better cheer on those seniors! I wanna hear kinnick be ear popping. We need kinnick to be loud and proud for the tosu game

I will shed a tear or two November 20. Saying goodbye to these seniors will be the toughest group I have ever said goodbye to in person. The greatest Hawkeye QB and WR of my lifetime, Clayborn, Ballard, Klug, Greenwood have all been HUGE parts of what we have done. Guys like Vandevelde are special, and don't get recognized as much as they should. Donahue will be punting in the NFL for 15 years if he wants. I could go on... Man, I don't want to think about it. Can't believe we only have one home game left... Seems like the season just started...

This has a chance to be one of the most memorable games in Kinnick. Who gets the biggest ovation? Stanzi, DJK or Clayborn? That place will be rocking from pregame hopefully all the way through the end of the game with a raucous celebration on the field.

I remember the 2007 senior day when people booed Adam Shada. That was a low moment. I was embarassed to be a hawkeye fan. I was sitting in the student section with a bunch of idiots that day. Shada wasn't even dressed, but still sad. This should be much better and a victory would be SWEET.

I was sitting by people in 2006 that booed Drew Tate on Senior Day.

It is absolutely ridiculous to boo anybody that just dedicated 4 or 5 years to the program and that has done the state and University proud.

As of today, I won't be there. Might change. But here is my suggestion. If anyone boos our seniors everyone just pummel them into submission.

Ricky Stanzi would have to tattoo the American flag into his butt and moon the referee in the endzone after scoring a touchdown thus causing us to kick off from the 15 yard line allowing the game winning FG to be that much easier for him to be booed.

Adrian Clayborn would have to give the out of touch redneck taxi driver a victory ride on his shoulders while singing the Ohio State fight song to be booed.

DJK would have to take to twitter in a major way to be booed, but even then it might be worth it because of how entertaining it might be.
