November 1999 Iowa team vs. November 2012 Iowa team.

I think the 99 team wins.

It would be ugly but I'd go with Nov 2012.

1999 was low point of Iowa football in my lifetime. They may have been the worst BCS conference team at that point.

This current Iowa team is certainly in the bottom 10 of BCS conference teams right now but I don't think its as historically bad as 1999.

Which is fodder for another post. An awful lot of KF teams seem to quit on him at the end of the year.

I agree with the 1999 comment. Don't know if this team has quit. I thought Iowa played pretty hard last week. They're just not very good.

What complete and absolute BS.

Given that in the last 6 years 2 teams down the stretch did NOT maintain a hard core bad *** attitude.

Iowa still has many more good finishes than bad ones.

Come down here to North Carolina and watch the Tar Heels over the years and you'll see when a team quits on a season or in a game. Probably why they dress in Baby Blue.
