When I read that, I thought, wait a second, Maryland played Minnesota at home. I then, with the internet at my fingertips, in about 30 seconds, affirmed my recollection. It doesn't seem like it would be too big of a burden for the author to do the same.

I believe he’s trolling at his point because this has happened before. Small errors in articles that attentive fans will notice and be irritated by.

Maybe it’s more that “I hope so” more than “I think so”. Because his errors don’t have a purpose, at least not a good one, and it does look ridiculous.

I guess it’s just me giving him the benefit of the doubt that he can’t possibly be so lazy as not not do a simple fact check prior to posting his article.

I've arrived at 3 scenarios as to what is going on with this Schwartz character:

1) He's really stupid and doesn't care about whether he's perceived as lazy and uninformed.
2) He's trolling us and he's paid by the number of posts in threads calling him lazy and uninformed.
3) Rob keeps him onboard because it makes Rob's writing look like it's coming from Jim Murray.

There could be a 4th, that somehow Schwartz is conducting a sociology experiment and documenting responses to errors in the media...but since I believe #1 above, I've basically ruled that one out.
