Schwartz: 10 Most Rewatchable Iowa Football Moments on YouTube

That helps get through an off season. It'd be fun to watch other programs similar lists and see how they compare.

Yes, most of the plays you'd expect to see on here are here.

The only one I disagree with was Jackson's third interception at Ohio State. Yes, it was a great play, but I can think of many others that were more memorable. Marshall Koehn's 57-yard game winner over Pitt in 2015 or Murrays game winner over Penn State in 2008 are a couple that come to mind. One moment (or rather a series of moments) I remember that never seems to make lists like this was Iowa's goalline stand against Syracuse in 2006.

I never saw the video about Tate to Holloway used in the article. Someday, I'd like to hear KF's breakdown of what happened that play. I wasn't able to find one on YouTube, but I did find one with some insight from Brian Ferentz, who actually played in that game. He wasn't afraid to call out papa's bad clock management.

Never gets old......all good choices.

Always remember the '91 game vs. tOSU and the victory for the Hawks and fans following the previous day shooting on campus. Matt Rogers to the wide open TE Alan Cross was one for the memorable playbook for me.
Hard to imagine that being the last time Iowa won in Columbus.

People rave about the goal line stand at Syracuse. However, by that point in the game I was so frustrated at Iowa's level of play....struggling with lowly 'cuse' that I did not enjoy it as much as relieved.

I've always felt the same way. What was Iowa doing in a position to lose that game is what I kept thinking. Relieved is the correct emotion at the end of that game.

Tyler Sash's pinball interception against Indiana 2009

I forgot all about this one. It definitely deserves a spot on the list. I remember watching this game and after this play thinking to myself "WTF just happened?" It ended up being the turning point in the game because before it happened it looked like Indiana was going to go up 28-7 in short order after Stanzi threw his 3rd pick (he had 5 INTs in this game).

I'll be honest and admit I never knew the status of the game or what transpired before the goalline stand because I didn't watch it. After reading your response, I can understand why it seems a bit underwhelming though.

I figure any game you win with a backup quarterback is a good game.

The Tevaun Smith is rewatchable because of Gus. Love it!
Gus has moments when calling a game that I think he's having an outer-body experience. The noise he makes isn't a normal human sound. Beathard to Smith was one of them. I love it.
