That's how I see it for Iowa on both sides of the ball.
Iowa's DL slicing through an inexperienced EIU OL ... like a hot knife through butter.
And, to my surprise, I anticipated that EIU would actually bring more to the table on the DL. However, as I subsequently learned, they lost 2 of their top guys. Furthermore, their most experienced guys are all WAY undersized. Last year, being undersized probably would have gone to their favor against Iowa's bigger and clunkier OL. This year though ... I anticipate that Iowa's OL, albeit inexperience, will have it's way.
And, the rewards of Iowa's OL exerting its dominance in the trenches .... ? Adam Robinson cutting through the EIU D like a hot knife through butter.
As odd as it sounds ... even with our lack of depth at RB for game one ... I'm now expecting the group to put up some nice rushing numbers against EIU.
