Ok I haven't been on the site constantly so I don't know if this thread has already been hashed over (sorry if it has) but the announcer said in the osu game that sash hasn't made his decision to come back for his senior year yet..... is he seriously thinking about the nfl? do you guys think he has early nfl talent? i love sash but is he early nfl material? what do you guys think?

He should stay in school and finish his senior season as a member of the football team.

The Pros can wait.

I don't see him being a first or second round pick. I think it is pretty stupid to go out early unless that is where you are going to end up.

How old is he? I thought I saw on the Gazette today that he is 23 in may (can't remember exactly)? This could be a big factor and if it's true I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave for the NFL.

Should stay in school since the NFL is going to be locked out next year anyway.

Who knows, after watching Bulaga go pro early, nothing would surprise me.

I hope he stays because Iowa needs him badly but I can't fault him for trying to give it a shot.

the pending C.B.A. will definitely be a bigtime factor in his decision. anybody that is All-American Material will consult the coaches and mentors. I'm sure that of all people, sash trusts ferentz and staff. He and i shared the same HS coach, who is just like ferentz.... I think he stays and plays, its not like he has had a "clayborn-like" Junior year, in fact his play this year allows for significant improvement next year if you assume the general progression of a player.

If he goes, it's a HUGE mistake. He has had a very mediocre season. His pass coverage has been horrible more times than not.
